Qualifications

  • Alternatively, 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role.
  • Must be willing to work towards relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues.
  • Help tenants develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.
  • Ensure 24-hour support services are available.

Woodbank House is a supported living accommodation providing care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is located centrally within Omagh. Woodbank House offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, helping tenants develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QCF/NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and
  • 6 months experience in a formal care/support role* with previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.

Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months.

Alternatively,

  • 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role* with previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.

Must be willing to work towards relevant qualifications.

*Formal Care/Support may include caring at home (where the carer receives Carers’ Allowance) or voluntary work in a formal setting.
