Salary: National Minimum Wage (as applicable by age) - £24,570 for full-time hours (37.5 pw) and part-time equivalent £12.60, including weekends, bank holidays, evenings, subject to rotas.

About the Role

The Aldingbourne Trust is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team at our Supported Living Project near Felpham, Bognor Regis. These positions offer both Full Time (37.5 hours per week) and Part Time (20-25 hours per week), including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and sleep-in shifts.

Our tenants live in their own accommodations within a newly renovated community space, featuring a courtyard, gardens, laundry, craft room, and communal kitchen-diner. Tenancies include flats and cottages, each with private living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Your role will be to support individuals in managing their daily lives, living independently, and pursuing their aspirations. Flexibility is essential, as hours will include weekdays, weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. The project offers a newly renovated sleep-in facility with security cameras. A driver is desirable for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting tenants with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, household chores, managing money, and budgeting.
  • Assisting with personal care, medication, and behavioral support as needed.
  • Encouraging and facilitating access to community activities like theatre visits, events, trips to attractions, or even adventurous activities like parachuting.
