Railway Court is a supported living accommodation providing support and care for up to 23 tenants with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Located centrally within Omagh, Railway Court offers 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, assisting tenants to develop skills and participate in daily decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and at least 6 months experience in a formal care/support role, with previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
  2. Must be currently registered with NISCC or, if new to the sector, must achieve registration within 6 months.
  3. Alternatively, 2 years’ experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
  4. Must be willing to work towards completing relevant qualifications.

*Formal Care/Support may include caring at home (where the carer receives Carers’ Allowance) or voluntary work in a formal setting.
