Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.

The Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers help with the daily care of patients, either in hospitals, homes, or in patients' own homes. They are vital members of teams in hospitals, care homes, and clinics.

As a Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of nursing staff alongside other Healthcare Assistants.

5. Talking to patients to reduce anxiety

Your daily tasks may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within hospitals. With experience, you may participate in training new staff.
