Job summary

Alternative Futures Group is seeking a Support Worker to help people live as independently as possible. You’ll work across people\'s homes, community services and care settings, delivering personalised support that makes a real difference.

No prior care experience is required and full training is provided. You\'ll be a friendly, patient communicator who can work independently and as part of a team, with flexible shifts including day, night, sleep-in and weekend work.

About the Role

As a Support Worker at AFG, you'll support people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

This could be in:

• People's own homes
• Community-based services
• Adult Care Homes or Independent Hospitals

Every person we support has a personalised plan focused on their needs and aspirations.

Our Support Workers work in a variety of settings including community-based services (often supporting people in their own homes) to our Independent Hospitals or Adult Care Homes.

One thing that is common across all of our services is a focus on personalised support and tailoring our services to the needs and aspirations of the people we support with a diverse range of care needs (including Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Concerns, Complex Care, Substance Misuse issues to name a few).
