Alternative Futures Group is seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to help people live independently and achieve their goals. You will provide compassionate, person-centred support across diverse settings, including people’s homes and community services.

No prior care experience is required, and full training is provided. You’ll join a supportive team with values-driven culture, offering meaningful work and long-term career development in Health & Social Care.

Qualifications

• Friendly and confident communicators with a caring attitude.

About the Role

As a Support Worker at AFG, you'll support people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

This could be in:

• People's own homes
• Community-based services
• Adult Care Homes or Independent Hospitals

Every person we support has a personalised plan focused on their needs and aspirations.

We're looking for people who are:

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work a range of shifts including day shifts, waking nights, sleep ins and weekends

Our Support Workers work in a variety of settings including community-based services (often supporting people in their own homes) to our Independent Hospitals or Adult Care Homes.

One thing that is common across all of our services is a focus on personalised support and tailoring our services to the needs and aspirations of the people we support with a diverse range of care needs (including Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Concerns, Complex Care, Substance Misuse issues to name a few).
