Job summary

CareTech in Cliftonville is seeking Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You will deliver person-centred support, help with daily living, and enable participation in community activities.

Roles require flexibility for evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. DBS check is paid for by CareTech, with opportunities for career progression and training up to degree level.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Drivers desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Good communication and basic IT and written abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

We are recruiting Support Workers to join our service in Cliftonville, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Whether you're new to care or experienced, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career - any truly make a difference!, The people we support enjoy a wide range of activities, and Support Workers play a vital role in enabling these experiences, including:

Activities Supported

• Arts and crafts
• Days out such as Theme Parks, Meals out, Social activities, Christmas markets etc.
• Holidays and short breaks
• Walks in the local park and community
• Cooking and baking to develop life skills

The Role You will

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required

• We're seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
