Voyage Care in Bury is seeking a caring and flexible Support Worker to help people gain more independence in daily life within our ABI residential service. You will work as part of a dynamic team, support with personal care, enable community access, and participate in a range of activities.

No extensive experience is required as we provide a comprehensive training programme; a UK manual driving license (over 12 months) is welcomed.

Shifts are - 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10am (waking nights and sleep ins also maybe required)

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service in Bury is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. Experience isn't essential as we provide a training programme to increase your skills and knowledge.
