Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join an already exciting professional team who support young people aged 16-25 to become flourishing individuals and overcome interconnected problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and empower young people, accompany them to appointments, and link them to community support services.
• Maintain all files to professional standards, following Data Protection Act guidelines.
• Ensure young people's participation in service development and liaise with other departments.
• Deliver child protection and vulnerable adult responsibilities according to policies.
• Maintain premises to high standards, ensuring safety and legal compliance.

Assist in preparing accommodations, which may include cleaning duties, and work with young people using a holistic, person-centered approach. Lead on service work plans, ensure timely data recording, and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people and vulnerable groups.
• Ability to support individuals demonstrating challenging behavior.
• Experience in confidential, health and safety-conscious environments.
• Youth work, Housing, or Children’s Residential NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• A full UK driving license is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the update service).
