We have an excellent opportunity for Support Workers to join our Service in Woodbridge. Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays. You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45 for any sleep-in shifts carried out. The payment for sleep-ins is non-contractual.

You must be able to work flexibly across various shifts over weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays. Hours available are up to 30 hours a week.

We are looking for someone with a good sense of humor who is fun to spend time with! The people we support want their Support Worker to enjoy participating in activities and to be respectful of their individual needs.

What does a Support Worker do?

As a Support Worker, you will provide outstanding support to help individuals live comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy lives. You should have excellent communication skills, a caring and patient personality. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Supporting independence – managing budgets, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Relationship building – helping individuals understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion – supporting access to local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care – assisting with daily routines, medication prompts, bathing, showering, and bathroom use. Not all roles require high levels of personal care.
