A social care provider in Aberdeen is seeking a part-time Support/Care Worker to assist individuals with a history of severe mental health problems. This role involves providing personalized care and support, and it requires a willingness to pursue qualifications in Social Services. VSA have an exciting opportunity available to join our Westerton Crescent Service as a Support/Care Worker based in Aberdeen. This will be a part-time permanent position and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
Salary/Rate: £12.81 per hour
Hours/Rota: 28 hours per week - 4 week rolling rota over 7 days, working 3 or 4 days per week, which will include alternative weekends and a mixture of early and late shifts. Sleep-in duties are required approximately 3 times per month, working from 10pm-8am. Location: Westerton Crescent, Aberdeen
VSA\'s Westerton Crescent service was opened in February 1995. It is purpose-built to provide accommodation for nine adults with a history of severe and enduring mental health problems. They may also have a physical disability and require daily support from the staff team to motivate, empower and promote their self-esteem, while maintaining as much of their independence as possible.

Essential:
Willingness and ability to achieve SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare within 3 years of appointment or as determined by VSA.
