Hourly rate: £11.60 to £12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience

Position: Support Worker

As a Support Worker at West Cross, you will support daily activities, personal development, and work closely with a team including therapists and other support staff to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalised care during daily activities, including personal care, learning, and social interactions.
  • Foster a safe, positive environment, ensuring emotional and physical well-being.
  • Implement individualised care plans under the guidance of a supportive senior team.
  • Support recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in collaboration with the team.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and celebrate achievements and milestones.

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.

Requirements:
  • A compassionate, caring nature with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
