As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, you will support elderly individuals who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty. Your role is to enable them to maintain their individuality and vital independence. You will assist with moving residents to dining areas for meals, communal areas for social activities, and to their bedrooms and bathrooms upon request.
You will help with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, and dressing, always respecting privacy and dignity. You will also have the opportunity to engage residents in physical and mental stimulation through recreational and social activities, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
