Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work flexible hours throughout the week at a specialist care home supporting up to 27 residents. The service focuses on individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs, so it is essential that you are attentive, compassionate, and committed to following personalised care plans that ensure each resident feels heard, respected, and supported.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as morning and night-time routines, supporting residents with personal care, and helping them maintain as much independence as possible.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties, maintain health and safety standards, report condition updates, and cater to each individual’s preferences and needs.
Requirements
  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
  • A referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help with online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Typical hours

08:00 to 15:00 with the occasional requirement to work 08:00 to 17:00.

You will be paid £12.21 per hour.
