Support Worker Waking Nights - Biggleswade, Biggleswade

This role involves supporting learning-disabled adults to live fulfilling lives by helping them develop skills, achieve goals, and participate in their community. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and support individuals in discovering new interests and maintaining relationships.

Location: King Walden Villas, Biggleswade SG18 0PX

Job Type: Support Worker - Waking Nights

Salary: £ per hour, increasing to £ per hour from 1st October 2024, plus 10% night allowance

Hours: 35 hours per week

Benefits: 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), overtime and holiday allowances, £1,000 retention bonus, funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, health and retail incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as medication, cooking, and personal care.
  • Encouraging independence and confidence, including activities like shopping, outdoor adventures, or using public transport.
  • Building meaningful relationships and supporting personal development.
