Job summary

Active Care Group in a rural village in Devon seeks a thoughtful Night Support Worker to provide compassionate, one-to-one care for a gentleman in his late 50s living with MSA. You’ll work nights from 8 PM to 8 AM on a rolling rota, ensuring comfort and safety.

You will assist with personal care, medications, and mobility, with full training and ongoing support from the Care Manager. A driver is preferred due to rural location; the role is offered on a zero-hours basis.

Someone who brings kindness, warmth and a sense of humour, and who can help him feel comfortable, supported and valued in his own home.As a Night Support Worker, you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one support throughout the night, helping with:Personal careMedicationMobility and physical supportYou’ll work as part of a consistent, trusted care team, supporting the same person each week and building a positive relationship over time.And you won’t be expected to know everything from day one. We provide full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support from our Care Manager, so you’ll feel confident and supported in your role.Shifts Available:Waking Night shifts run from 8 PM to 8 AM2 shifts a weekPlease note due to a rural location, we are seeking drivers for this position.In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team.
