Are you looking for a rewarding job where no two days are the same? Would you like a role that differs from the traditional 9 to 5? At Meadow View, we are seeking engaging and positive Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
As a Support Worker, you will provide outstanding support to help individuals live more independent, dignified, and happy lives. We value forward thinkers who can offer new ideas to develop opportunities and skills, such as gardening or cooking nutritious meals.
Support work often extends beyond the home, offering opportunities to engage with the local community through activities like walks, trips to the cinema, or visits to the seaside. We seek flexible, open-minded support workers to support diverse interests and activities.
You will have strong support from the Meadow View management team. We work proactively in partnership to ensure the best support for staff, welcoming those new to care and providing guidance and assistance.
About You
We seek Support Workers with a 'can do' attitude, outgoing, caring, and able to remain calm when needed. Experience is not essential, but sharing our values is. If you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with learning disabilities, we will support your career progression through our excellent training team, helping you become a qualified Support Worker and advancing your career in care.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are priorities for us. We aim to create an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel valued and respected, supporting individuals from all backgrounds and communities to excel at work. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and celebrate all forms of diversity, including ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, neurodiversity, age, socioeconomic status, family or parental status, beliefs, and religions. We believe that diverse perspectives enhance our ability to provide the best care, education, and vocational opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities.
Please note, a valid Full UK driving license is required for this role.
Applicants must be over 21 years old and have at least 2 years of driving experience.
*Currently, we prioritize applications from candidates with indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK, but we welcome all applications regardless of sponsorship or settled status.*
