Northumberland County Council is seeking a part-time Care Worker for Tynedale House in Blyth. You will support residents with daily routines, follow care plans and contribute to a safe, dignified living environment within a welcoming team.
No prior care experience is essential as full training including medication administration is provided. An empathetic, reliable attitude and good communication are key to delivering high-quality person-centred care.

As aCare Worker, you’ll be a key part of the support system that helps our residents live with independence, dignity, and joy. From assisting with daily routines to providing emotional support, your presence will be both comforting and empowering.
We’re all about the right attitude – if you’re caring, reliable, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you! Experience in care is great, but not essential – full training (including medication administration) will be provided.
The role will be a great fit for you if:
Part-time, Permanent role – 19.25 hours per week
£13.69 - £14.59 per hour (NCC Band 4: £26,403 - £28,142 FTE (pro rata for part time employees £18,731 - £19,965)
