Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, emotional support, and guidance to clients, helping them maintain an abstinent lifestyle.
- Conduct physical observations of clients to ensure their well-being and safety.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalised recovery plans addressing their individual needs.
- Ensure clients follow program guidelines and assist in investigating any breaches, including substance testing.
- Support clients with medication management, including audits and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as life skills, benefits, and housing.
- Accompany clients to external appointments and assist in coordinating transport as necessary.
- Conduct and oversee client intake, assessment, and discharge procedures.
- Collaborate with the therapeutic team to manage risk effectively, ensuring timely and accurate risk management planning.
- Maintain accurate client records, databases, and statistics to support service evaluation.
- Facilitate the transfer of individuals between agencies and services.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in conducting physical observations and managing client well-being.
- Experience in providing emotional support to clients.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to undertake the qualification.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Competent in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong listening skills and empathy, with a non-judgmental attitude.
- Ability to manage risk and develop risk management plans.
- Experience handling high-pressure situations with a calm and caring approach.
The Recruitment Process:
