Support Worker to support a female young adult in Bedlington @ £13.74 per hr - 4hrs weekly - Bedlington - NE22

We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to support a lovely 18 year old young female adult with Autism, Hypermobility and Sensory Needs. She enjoys spending time in the community and has a great sense of humour once comfortable; however, she thrives best with consistency and routine.

Your role will be to help her establish a regular weekly routine of accessing age-appropriate community and leisure activities, encouraging confidence and independence outside of the family home.

You should be patient, enthusiastic, and understanding of the challenges that come with autism and sensory sensitivities. Experience in supporting young people with similar needs is preferred.

Hours: 4 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.74 per hour
Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata
Expenses: Any out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed by the employer
DBS: Enhanced DBS required (cost covered by employer)
Driver: Car driver desirable, must be insured for business use
