The Wilf Ward Family Trust offers exciting opportunities to join our team at Sherburn House in Knaresborough. Sherburn House is a complex care service supporting individuals with profound learning disabilities and physical health needs. Currently, we support 3 ladies and 6 gentlemen aged between 19 and 60 years old.

As a 24-hour service, we support individuals throughout the day and night, providing a variety of activities and community outings. We also have adapted vehicles to facilitate outings into the wider community.

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Attending activities and events with individuals
• Assisting with meal preparation and medication management
• Supporting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Monitoring and reporting health changes
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)

We provide a comprehensive training program to equip you with the necessary skills. We seek compassionate, caring individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and develop.
