We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people are unheard when it comes to the support they need. Some won't get to decide what they do for work, how to spend or save their money, or try out new hobbies they love.
But you can change all that.
Join our growing team in New Malden and receive all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.
If our values — Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary — resonate with you, then we already have a lot in common. Come on board and support learning disabled adults with these values to develop skills, achieve life goals, and thrive in your community.
Every day is different. You might support someone to plan their weekly shop, go on outdoor adventures, provide personal care, assist with attending gigs, build confidence in using public transport, or teach money management skills. Your goal is to support individuals in discovering new interests, achieving goals, and maintaining relationships with family and friends.
You will provide high standards of care and support for learning disabled adults, listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication and cooking, and helping build confidence for new adventures—all while working various shifts to balance work and home life.
