A reputable care provider seeks a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and mental health conditions in Birmingham. No prior experience is required; however, applicants should possess empathy and teamwork skills. This role offers a starting salary of £26,682 and various training opportunities.
Support Worker Learning Disabilities & Mental Health
Location: Druids Heath, South Birmingham
Salary: Starting at £26,682 (pro rata)
Hours: Average of 42 hours per week, permanent contract (shift-based including weekends)

Since 1986, we ve been committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care through our residential and supported living services across South Birmingham and Warwickshire.
Many of our team members joined without prior experience in care and with our support, training, and development pathways, have progressed into qualified and management roles.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you ll assist the individuals we support to live fulfilling, independent lives. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Ensure best practice is followed by following guidelines with the care given to the young people.
Carry out domestic tasks to maintain the upkeep of the home and ensure health and safety is followed.
Following care plans provided for individuals and ensure that any relevant documentation is completed.
