Support Worker Learning Disabilities & Mental Health
Location: Druids Heath, South Birmingham
Salary: Starting at £26,682 (pro rata)
Hours: Average of 42 hours per week, permanent contract (shift-based including weekends)

Care Through The Millennium (CTTM) is a well-established and respected care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and behaviours that challenge. Since 1986, we ve been committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care through our residential and supported living services across South Birmingham and Warwickshire.

Many of our team members joined without prior experience in care and with our support, training, and development pathways, have progressed into qualified and management roles.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you ll assist the individuals we support to live fulfilling, independent lives. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Encouraging and empowering individuals to reach their full potential
  • Promoting safety, wellbeing, and dignity at all times and ensuring compliance with company and sector legislation including safeguarding
  • Supporting access to the community, hobbies, and social activities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team on a rota basis

Ensure best practice is followed by following guidelines with the care given to the young people.

Carry out domestic tasks to maintain the upkeep of the home and ensure health and safety is followed.

Following care plans provided for individuals and ensure that any relevant documentation is completed.
