We are looking to recruit a full-time Support Worker to join our Supported Living Service in the Dinnington (NE13) area of Newcastle. Our in-house Trainer will ensure you have the specialist learning disabilities training for your role.

  • Working on shifts, paid from start to finish.

We are recruiting:

  • Full-time Support Workers
  • Female applicants only

Join our team of Learning Disabilities Support Workers. We offer various shift patterns, including:

  • 8am to 8pm
  • 7am - 3pm

Successful candidates will be based in Dinnington, supporting individuals to live a happy and fulfilled life, participating in local community activities, and learning independent living skills such as managing their tenancy, cooking, and cleaning. You will be based in one bungalow with no more than 3 individuals. You will work flexibly, supporting individuals to enjoy their favourite activities such as visiting the local garden centre, going on walks, a trip to the local pub, trips away, and other fun pastimes.

  • Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus, £25 birthday gift voucher.
  • Fully funded DBS.
  • Paid induction training: 2 weeks classroom-based, includes 2 days shadowing and additional online modules. Care certificate completed within 3 months.
  • Training development: funded Level 2 & 3 and other accredited courses.
  • Holiday pay: annual leave accumulates with working hours.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): free 24-hour helpline, advice, and guidance for yourself and dependents.
