Job Description:

We are actively seeking an experienced Bank Support Worker to join our team in Reading, providing essential support to individuals with Mental Health issues, Brain Injuries, and Learning Disabilities within our Supported Living Service.

About the Role

As a Bank Support Worker, you will cover ad hoc shifts to assist with holiday and sickness cover. Our Reading Supported Living Service accommodates up to 5 individuals, helping them with their daily routines, which may include:

  • Administering medication
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Managing weekly finances
  • Performing household tasks
  • Supporting individuals in maintaining contact with family and friends, accessing the community, and attending appointments

Our clients, aged between 18-30, live with various health conditions including Mental Health issues, Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, and Challenging Behaviour.

About You

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience supporting individuals in a Supported Living or Mental Health setting. You should be outgoing, supportive, and flexible to cover the following shifts on an ad hoc basis:

  • 07:00 – 14:30
  • 10:30 – 19:00
  • 14:30 – 22:00
  • 22:00 – 07:00
