The Role

As a Support Worker at CCP, you will provide vital support to young people living in our supported accommodation home in Yate. This is a part-time position working 12.25 hour shift 8am-8.15pm - 1 hour unpaid break in our Accommodation Based Services team.

What You'll Do

  • You'll provide practical and emotional support to individuals living in Yate, helping to promote a greater level of independence.
  • You’ll do this in a trauma-informed way (you will be thoroughly trained) and by building strong relationships with the individuals you support.
  • You'll need to promote the rights and interests of the young people.
  • You'll need to protect them from danger, harm, or abuse.
  • It can be challenging, however the rewards are amazing to see how your advice, knowledge and guidance has such a positive impact on these young people's lives.
  • To be successful in this role, you'll need to be patient, kind, resilient, and professional, with a calm and caring approach.

Hours: Part-time 33.75 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Yate

Pay: £22,113 per year (£25,798.50 FTE)
