Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our team in St Leonards-on-Sea. We offer a permanent, full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, at a supported living service where 7 people share a house. The residents include 3 gentlemen and 4 ladies who enjoy living together and living life to the full. Your role will be to provide high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible and enjoy a fulfilling life.

What we're looking for:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

  • Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.
  • An optional sleep-in shift with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
