Kingsway is a 5 bedded service in St George. We provide support for adults who enjoy the company of staff who can listen and also share a joke or two and are seeking Support Workers to join our team.
The successful Support Worker will have excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and maturity. The ability to motivate themselves and others and be able to work openly and honestly as part of a team. They will have good values, showing compassion, kindness, empathy, and understanding to the people they support. Willing to engage in learning to support the development of themselves and those around them and be flexible and able to adapt to any situation while putting the person they are supporting at the centre of all that they do.
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
We would consider contracts from 15 to 37.5 hours per week. Shifts vary and there is a requirement to do at least one sleep-in per week. Shift times are 07:00 – 14:30, 09:00 – 16:30, 14:00 – 21:30 and sleep-in shifts are 21:00 – 07:30am.
