Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Southampton is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker for a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week). You will support seven individuals with learning disabilities at home and in the community, providing person-centred care and empowering independence.

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate a Female Support Worker to join our incredible team in Southampton. The position is permanent and part time (30 hours per week).

About our Service:

At our Southampton service, we support seven people with learning disabilities who share a welcoming and active home. They enjoy socialising, meals out and many other things.

As part of our team, you’ll provide high-quality, flexible support tailored to each person’s needs. Your role is to empower individuals to live as independently as possible and to make the most of every day—at home and in the community.

What we're looking for:

Shift times:

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

• Days: Between 07:00-22:00
• Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00
• There is also potential of a sleep-in availablewhere you willreceive an enhanced flat rate payment of£64.20.
