About the role:

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker.

As a support worker, you will treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve. You’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves people’s ability to manage daily tasks and enables them to experience independent living and decision-making. We are currently recruiting for full or part-time Support Workers to join our existing teams throughout Powys.

What we need from you:

8. Help people to get up, get ready and to get out and about in their community.
9. Support people to learn new life skills at home such as things like cooking, cleaning, DIY, and in their community, hobbies and interests, socialising, and shopping.

Your rewards:

1. Full and part time posts, with a full-time basic salary of £25,029.00
2. Flexible zero-hour contracts are available to accommodate personal circumstances.
3. Opportunity to maximise your earnings – Earn approximately an additional £3,000 per annum by completing 1 weekly sleep in, £6,000 for 2 sleeps in shifts a week.
4. Availability of overtime – e.g., 1 shift a week = an additional £4,000 per year.
5. Double-time payment when working on a Bank Holiday, triple time during Christmas Day.
6. A generous holiday scheme. Annual leave starting at 22 days, plus Bank Holidays (raising to 26 days).
7. Sleep in shifts paid in addition, at £60 per night.
8. Average earnings paid when on holiday, you don’t lose out on overtime or sleep in allowances.

10. Occupational sick pay, up to 3 months full and 3 months half pay.
