We are recruiting for the support team of a young female customer based in Ripon. Our customer has Global Development Delay and uses Makaton and simple words to communicate. She seeks support to enhance her independence by working towards her goals and aspirations. Could this be you?
Our customer enjoys walks and swimming, so participation in these activities is required. She also likes crafts, and artistic talents are welcome to share with her. Support will continue during her attendance at local day services.
Due to her support needs with personal care, only female applicants are considered. This is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act.
The customer is supported 5 days a week, from 10 am to 5 pm. There are opportunities to work additional hours supporting other customers at Avalon.
No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. The key qualities are drive and compassion to help our customers live fulfilling lives.
