Job description

We’re recruiting!

Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and help create a future where learning disabled people live the best life possible.

We understand that life can be complicated for everyone. However, some individuals are prevented from pursuing their dreams. Many learning disabled people are not heard when they express their support needs. Some are unable to decide what they do for work or how to manage their money. Many are unable to try out new hobbies they might love.

But you can make a difference.

Join our growing team in Rothwell, Leeds, and receive all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.

If our values — Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary — resonate with you, then we already have a lot in common. Come on board to support learning disabled adults, embodying these values, to develop skills, achieve life goals, and thrive in your community.

What we offer you

  • Location: Rothwell, Leeds
  • Salary: £12.51 per hour
  • Holidays: 33 days of annual leave, including eight statutory bank holidays
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas
  • Training & Development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, with paid work
  • Additional benefits: Health, retail, and cash incentives for you to use as you wish

What you’ll be doing

Every day offers new opportunities — supporting someone with their weekly shop, going on outdoor adventures, providing personal care, attending gigs, building confidence in using public transport, or teaching money management. Your role is to help individuals discover new interests, achieve goals, and maintain important relationships with family and friends.

You will provide the highest standard of care and support for learning disabled adults. This includes listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication and cooking, and helping build confidence for new experiences, all while supporting a variety of shifts to balance your work and home life.

Having a full driving license is beneficial but not essential.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Leeds services!
