Description of the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Enfield-based support worker. The Support Worker will be in charge of offering people with learning disabilities and mental health issues both practical and emotional support. To assist clients with everyday living tasks including cooking, cleaning, and personal care, they will collaborate closely with other team members, medical professionals, and social services. Additionally, the support worker will be in charge of keeping thorough records on the habits and progress of the clients.

Duties:

• Assist clients with everyday living activities such as shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Offer clients emotional support.
• Create and carry out personalised treatment regimens for your customers.
• Keep thorough records of the activities and progress of your clients.
• Help patients with their appointments and medical care.
• Assist customers in accessing local services and resources.
• As needed, offer clients conveyance.

Qualifications

• It is recommended if you have previous experience working in learning disability, mental health, or social care services.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• The capacity to maintain composure under pressure
• Adaptable, sympathetic, and capable of working both individually and together
• familiarity with pertinent health and safety rules and guidelines
• Capacity to prioritise tasks and efficiently manage time
• Proficiency in document management and report writing
• GED, a high school degree, or an equivalent
• Fluency in the English language
