Job summary

Elwood Recruitment are recruiting for Support Workers in Rickmansworth to work in residential homes providing 24-hour care and support to adults with learning disabilities. You will assist with daily living tasks and help residents engage in activities and community opportunities.

Successful applicants will be involved in maintaining a safe environment and enabling experiences for residents, with duties including shopping, crafts, music, and helping with day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience within the care sector
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities preferred
• Able to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends

About the role:

Elwood Recruitment are recruiting for Support Workers in Rickmansworth. You will work in residential homes which provide 24 hour care and support to adults with learning disabilities.

The role involves providing day to day support with daily living tasks, activities and making full use of community opportunities.

As part of the care and support team you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to those living within the service.

• Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include but not be limited to finances, cooking & personal care)
