Salary: 26,000 - 32,000+ with up to two sleep-ins per week
Higher salary range available for those with Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare

I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity within a small, specialist residential children's service that's making a real difference in young people's lives. If you're passionate about supporting children who've experienced trauma and want to be part of a therapeutic, family-style environment-this could be the role for you.
This is a rewarding position working in a well-established team with strong values and exceptional training. The service provides warm, safe, and nurturing homes for children who are unable to live with their families and focuses on helping them grow, heal, and thrive.

What's on Offer:

  • Salary range 26,000 - 32,000+, including sleep-in payments
  • Higher salary available for those with a Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • Company pension
  • Private medical insurance (long service benefit)
  • Staff discounts and on-site parking
  • Extensive induction and training programme
  • Funded Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A supportive environment with in-house therapy provision
  • Flexible shift patterns and a strong focus on staff wellbeing

What We're Looking For:
You don't need to have it all figured out-just a caring attitude, resilience, and the willingness to learn and grow. We're particularly keen to speak to candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children, in care, education, health, or youth services
  • Hold (or are working towards) a Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare
  • Understand trauma-informed care and safeguarding
  • Are great communicators, team players, and committed to creating brighter futures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children in all aspects of daily life
  • Helping develop life skills, confidence, and independence
  • Creating a warm, safe, and structured home environment
  • Working in partnership with professionals and families
  • Participating in a rota, including occasional sleep-ins

If you're ready to take the next step in your career-or looking for a role where your compassion and commitment really count-I'd love to hear from you.
