Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Princes Risborough. This is a permanent and full-time post.

We have two Supported Living Services where seven adults with Learning Disabilities share their homes and enjoy fulfilling lives. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to live the lives they choose, respecting their unique abilities and needs.

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• The ability to reduce social isolation and increase independence and confidence among individuals with learning disabilities.
• The ability to enable individuals to fully access their local communities.

Contract options:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Shift times:

All our services operate 24-hour care. Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.

• Day and weekend shifts: 8am-6pm, 3pm-8pm, 11am-6pm, 7am-6pm, 12noon-10pm.
• Sleep-ins: 2pm - 2.30pm the following day, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
