A care provider in Cardiff is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals with various mental health issues. About Princes Court:
Princes Court is a male only service supporting 5 people with Mental Health diagnoses such as Schizophrenia, Schizo-Affective Disorder and Learning Disabilities. We support primarily gentlemen with a forensic background to safely integrate into community lifestyle mitigating risks. We focus on enabling them to develop skills, strengths, and resilience. We help them to form their own set of resources to self-manage and maintain well-being.
Our staff are experienced in supporting people who have a mental health diagnosis, a forensic background, people who have engaged in illicit substance and alcohol misuse, people who experience anxiety and low self-esteem etc. Staff work alongside other professionals across a multi-disciplinary team to provide a holistic approach of support.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
