Job description

Position: Primary School Support Worker
Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to children with various SEN, helping them engage with the curriculum.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).
  3. Offer emotional and behavioural support to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Work closely with class teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff to ensure that each child receives the support they need.
  5. Encourage independence and confidence in students, helping them achieve their full potential.

  1. A compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to supporting children with diverse needs.
  2. Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting (but not essential).
  3. A positive attitude and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
