Salary: £23,200.32 per year

About the Role:

Support Workers are central to Praxis Care’s mission of providing quality care to individuals. Each Support Worker is part of a dedicated team that delivers high-quality, reliable support services.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support and empower individuals to develop or improve their independent living skills as outlined in person-centred plans, which may include assistance with domestic or social skills and personal care.
  • Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programs.
  • Work with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, which may involve resolving conflicts or challenging behaviors using appropriate techniques and language.
  • Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with Praxis Care’s Medication Policy, as necessary.
  • Be familiar with all administrative requirements of the service, ensuring relevant information is accurately recorded and logged as per reporting guidelines.
  • Stay informed about all policies and procedures in place within the service (including Health & Safety) and participate in related training sessions.
Requirements of the Role:
  • Participate in the company appraisal and staff review process.
  • Adhere to and model the company values, behaviors, and competencies at all times.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with Praxis expectations, regulations, and policies.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Work necessary hours to meet the needs of the service.
  • The above-mentioned duties are not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as necessary. It should be noted that stated duties or locations associated with the post may change to meet the future needs of the organisation.
