The Shetland Islands Council is hiring a Play Support Worker at Cullivoe Primary School to enhance children's literacy and numeracy skills through play-based learning. This vacancy is being advertised as aCareer Graded post, which is a career development opportunity.This means that the Council is committed to supporting the successful candidate to obtain the necessary skills, abilities and knowledge to become fully competent in the role. Cullivoe Primary School is a non-denominational school located in Cullivoe, Yell. It provides primary education to P7 for children from North Yell. The structure of the school is one primary class. There is currently a total of 7 pupils on the roll. The school is managed by a Head Teacher. The current staffing complement is one part time teacher supporting the Head Teacher assisted by support staff as required to meet school demands. The current Head Teacher is Mrs Claire Lawson.
