Support Worker – Pirton Grange

  • Location: Worcester
  • Salary: £12.82 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our well established team at Pirton Grange.

Please note that you will need to hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for this position.

Located in Worcestershire, Pirton Grange is a specialist nursing home, supporting people over the age of 18 with a range of Neurological conditions such as dementia, Korsakoff’s syndrome, Huntington’s Disease & Acquired Brain Injury. We also support people with physical health needs and those whose behaviour may challenge as well as those with forensic histories.

Rated as Good by CQC, the service provides small wards dedicated to specific needs and conditions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assisting people to be as independent as they can, whether this be supporting them to learn to cook or prompting them to develop personal care skills
  • Encourage the people we support to follow their personal planned strategies to maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
  • Ensure all records are update and procedures are followed at all times

Role Requirements

  • A good communicator and listener
