A young girl living in Kelso is looking for a friendly, reliable, and supportive Personal Assistant to become a positive presence in her life.

As the relationship and level of trust develops, the role will also progress to include personal care support. Full mobility training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate feels confident and competent in carrying out these tasks.

This role is all about helping her build confidence, try new experiences, and enjoy spending time out in the local community. The successful candidate will act as a supportive buddy, encouraging her to attend external groups and activities and helping her feel more comfortable and confident in doing so.

This could be a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine, positive relationships and making a difference to a young person’s confidence and wellbeing.

Terms

• Location: Kelso
• Hours: 3 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Flexible, to be agreed with the employer.
• Rate of Pay: £14.05 per hour.
• Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.
• Probationary Period: 6 months.
• Appointment: Subject to satisfactory references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check.
