A gentleman in Kelso, looking for a personal assistant to help ensure all his personal care needs are met in a safe and efficient manner. Support with morning personal care routine in particular and also catheter care management.

Terms

• Hours per week: Every second weekend – 2.5 hours Saturday morning and 2.5 hours Sunday morning.
• £14.05 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

Job Description

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with personal care routine as/when required.
• To support with general care needs including:
  • Personal care assistance, medication prompts
  • Meal and drink preparation.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
• Catheter care management.
