Job Description

Support Worker, Personal Advisor, Bury MBC, Childrens & Families Team - Must be a Support Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Support Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

Our client is looking for a Support Worker with 2 years+ UK experience within a Children’s team.

The responsibilities will include:

  1. Enthusiastic individuals who wish to provide practical and emotional support, advice, and guidance to young people aged between 16 and 25 who are experiencing care and leaving care.
  2. Work directly with young people and their families to safeguard and promote their welfare.
  3. Coordinate Pathway Planning duties to support care leavers in their successful transition to adult life.
  4. Liaise appropriately with colleagues and other professionals.
  5. 35 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
  6. Immediate Start.
  7. 3 Month Temporary Contract.

The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
