THIS IS A UK BASED POSITION, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT:

  1. You have UK work experience with at least 6 months experience working as a support worker or in a similar position.
  2. Your CV clearly shows your relevant experience and qualifications.
  3. Experience with Brain Injury Support is advantageous.
  4. A full clean UK driver licence and access to a car that you are able to use for work purposes.

NSS PLUS LTD - NeuroSupport Services are currently recruiting Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support service users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and enable people to optimise independence and quality of life.

We are looking for psychology graduates, support Workers and Healthcare Assistants or suitable candidates who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping our clients access the community. We are looking for candidates that are confident with working independently and providing empirical feedback where necessary.

Job Title: Support Worker/PA
Location: Lutterworth, Leics, LE17
Hourly Rate: GBP12.50-GBP14 per hour depending on experience.

Days & Hours: 37 Hours per week

About you - Essential Experience:

Our client is looking for a PA to support her in her role as a Social Worker. She requires support with note taking and driving her between appointments. The role will involve working with older people who are vulnerable, and so a mature and sensible approach is needed. The role will involve working across a number of different locations including the office base, in clients' homes, and potentially in FS's own home (as FS will be home based for some of the week). Note taking could be in clients' homes, recording the details of the discussions, and/or at multi-agency meetings. The PA will need to be able to respond to FS's specific requests with regard to the level of detail recorded and will need to be able to record quickly and accurately.

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have access to full online yearly training.
  • Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS.
