Job description

An elderly lady, living in Lempitlaw, about 10 minutes from Kelso, is looking for an experienced and patient support worker to offer her some support on a daily basis. The role would involve up to 2 visits each day to support her with her morning and evening routine. This would include support with personal care, showering in the morning and continence support. Meal preparation and medication prompting as well as support with laundry on a regular basis. This role could be shared between a couple of people and applicants who can only do some visits are encouraged to apply.

Terms:

• Hours per week: Up to 10.5 hours per week plus travel time (to a set allowance to be agreed)
• Hours of work: Mon-Sun
  • morning 9am or later– 1 hour
  • evening, around 7.30pm- 0.5 hours
• £12.60 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 3 months
