Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Note: Due to a genuine occupational requirement, we are looking to recruit female workers for this particular role.

Shift Patterns:

  • 33 hours/week
  • Nights: 7 pm - 7 am
  • Flexibility is required.

We provide community-based residential care settings and supported living services for adults over 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), and challenging behaviours. Responsibilities

  • Supporting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, and hygiene.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning.
  • Supporting attendance at medical appointments.
  • Observing, monitoring, and recording residents' well-being and reporting changes.
  • Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be a driver with at least 3 years of experience and no penalty points.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature.
  • Empathy, patience, and understanding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Good verbal and written English skills.
  • Healthcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK is required.

Location Information

The service is located on Brecon Road in Abergavenny, supporting five female residents with mental health needs. The environment is designed to be stimulating and safe, promoting residents' potential through nurturing and structured care.
