Job description

We are looking for a confident Night Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

The Old Vicarage is a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, including those with challenging behaviors and complex needs. We provide tailored care to promote independence and community integration.

This is a full-time position, involving 36 or 42 hours per week, with shifts of either 3x 12-hour or 4x 12-hour nights.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs, ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
  • Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
  • Safeguard and promote the independence of service users.

Job responsibilities

Qualifications and experience
  • Support Worker Grade 1: Minimum Level 3 qualification - £12.53/hour
  • Support Worker Grade 2: Minimum Level 2 qualification - £12.31/hour
  • Support Worker Grade 3: No NVQ required - £12.21/hour
