A dedicated support services provider in Nottingham is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for nighttime shifts. This role involves empowering individuals with personal care and nighttime activities, while ensuring their safety and well-being. Candidates must have a proven care background, up-to-date training, and an enhanced DBS check. The position offers hourly pay of £12.35 and accrued holiday pay.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker looking for nighttime work, who live in the Nottingham, NG12 area.
In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment.

1. Additional duties may include the following: -
Assist individuals with their nighttime living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
• Support clients in developing independent living skills through engaging activities.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
• Encourage participation in community activities to enhance social skills and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Safety and Comfort: Work with the existing team to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
This is an ongoing position
Your typical hours will start at 22.00 and finish at 07.00 the next morning Monday to Friday
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
