Overview

Location: Downham, SE6
Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:30pm – 7:00pm

Contract: Until further notice (likely April 2026)

We are looking for a welcoming and reliable Clinic Host to support the smooth running of a local GP Youth Clinic. This role is ideal for someone with youth work experience who enjoys working in a community setting, supporting young people, and taking responsibility for ensuring a safe and friendly environment.

Responsibilities
  • Opening and locking up the building before and after clinic sessions
  • Checking rooms and communal spaces are ready for use
  • Greeting and welcoming young people as they arrive
  • Supporting with sign-in and session schedules
  • Helping ensure the clinic runs smoothly and on time
About you
  • Experience of working with young people (essential)
  • Friendly, approachable, and organised
  • Reliable and confident in taking responsibility for opening/closing a community building
  • Able to manage time effectively and keep sessions running to schedule
Hours and commitment
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:30 – 7:00pm
  • From 2 October 2025 until at least April 2026
  • Preference is for one person to cover both shifts each week
